Sappho’s Torch is an initiative under Sappho’s Social Club dedicated to building intergenerational connection within the Twin Cities sapphic community. Through intentional, identity-affirming pairings, we pass down the knowledge, resilience, and pride that sustain our community so no one has to figure it out alone. We understand the power of our history and want to help bridge the generational divides within sapphic circles. Sapphic youth (Buds) are matched with adult mentors (Lavenders) who offer friendship, advice, and a listening ear. These relationships help young people navigate life’s challenges, explore their interests, and gain the skills they need to reach their full potential. Applications are rolling, but our inaugural cohort kicks off June 14th!
